Despite the continuously bad weather, the Royal Air Force is flying a next attack on Berlin the night of October 30th, 1944, to October 31st, 1944. Again, the Mosquitos are attacking in two waves, a first one of 22 aircraft reaches Berlin at 19:57 hrs, a second wave is over the target at 22:30 hrs. One aircraft of No. 128 Sqn. is lostNo 128 Sqn. Records of Events, October 1944 (AIR 27/932) .
Mosquito KB199 is the last Mosquito to be lost in October – apparently, her loss is not linked to any activity with night fighters. She comes down in the western areas of the Reich, the exact location is currently unknown.
