On January 25th, 1945, Kommando Welter formally becomes 10./NJG 11 and is attached to II./NJG 11. The original name – Kommando Welter – is never really discarded and remains in use until the end of the war.
The Aufstellungsbefehl engl.: Orders of Establishment,Bundesarchiv/Militärarchiv RL 2 III/66 also shows the planned strength of the unit – 12 aircraft – and staffing taken from Detachment Welter.
