March continues just like February ended: in the night of March 1st, 1945, to March 2nd, the Royal Air Force is attacking Berlin with a total of 55 Mosquitos[1]Middlebrook, Martin et al.; The Bomber Command War Diaries; Page 673. The Mosquitos this took a route across central Germany, from Amsterdam to Bielefeld, Hildesheim, and Magdeburg to Berlin.

Einflug 1945-03-01No activity of the Luftwaffe to counter this raid is recorded, most likely, the men of 10./NJG 11 did not see action during this night.
