On March 13th, 1945, the Ruhrgebiet sees another major daylight attack by the Royal Air Force – the target this time: Wuppertal. During the night to March 14th, 1945, more than 200 four-engine bombers are also attacking the cities of Herne and Gelsenkirchen, roundabout 50 Mosquitos are bombing Berlin.
One of the attacking Mosquitos – KB476 of No. 163 Sqn. – is lost on the return leg. She is reportedly claimed by the Flak over the Netherlands.
